Western Red Cedar is strong and durable. It is less likely to crack and warp than Pressure Treated lumber. Western Red Cedar has natural oils that prolong the life of the board as well as protect the wood from insects and decay. This picket also has the dog ear cut on the top and is easily paintable or stainable.
